Persatuan Jururawat Infusi Malaysia (PJIM) is the Bahasa Malaysia term for the Infusion Nurses Society Malaysia (INSM). It was officially registered (PPM-001-10-20102019) as a non-governmental organisation with the Registrar of Societies Malaysia on 20th October 2019. The society was founded by a group of fifteen (15) nurses from academia, management, and clinical areas, with the vision of establishing a specialised cohort of infusion nurses capable of advancing best practices through training, education, and dissemination of standards in all aspects of infusion therapy management.
INSM has been an affiliate of the Infusion Nurses Society since its formation. The Infusion Nurses Society, based in the United States, is a global organisation representing infusion nurses and other clinicians specialising in infusion therapy.
INSM's first annual general meeting was held on 15th August 2020.
